Groups who worked out that the villa’s Bluetooth soundbar isn’t going to survive a week, and don’t want to spend €85/day fixing it. At €65/day it’s the smallest sensible step up from nothing — properly loud for a terrace of 20–30, and the swappable battery pack means a long afternoon doesn’t end at the mains socket.
It’s also what we send when a booking needs a second speaker for a different room or deck rather than more volume in one place.
When this is the right call

- More than about 30 people → the Bose S1 Pro+, or pair two of these
- You want it to feel like a system → the JBL PartyBox 710 or a PA rig
- You want the light show but not the 710’s 27kg → the JBL PartyBox 310 is the middle option: wheels, an 18-hour battery, IPX4 for pool spray, and two mic inputs
- Live vocals or a DJ set as the main event → a battery box won’t carry it. On battery, the JBL EON ONE MK2 is the step that actually holds up (1500W peak, 5-channel mixer, hot-swap packs); on mains, a PA rig
