Pag is the busiest zone we serve and the most party-coded place in Croatia. The villas around Novalja, Zrće beach, and the slow Pag-bridge approach are full of UK, German, Irish and Aussie groups from June through September.
What people actually rent here
The two patterns we see over and over:
The lads’ week / girls’ week pattern. Group of 8–16 friends rent a villa in Novalja for a week, hit Zrće at night, want a sound system for the villa pre-drinks and afternoon-by-the-pool moments. The JBL PartyBox 710 + DDJ-FLX4 (Zrće Pre-Drinks) is the default — battery, loud, built-in lights, packs into a car for the trip from villa to beach to villa.
The “we’re throwing a real party” pattern. Birthday, milestone, group reunion. Same villa, but the brief is “let’s make this look like an event”. Add LED PARs + smoke (Birthday with the Lights) and the difference is night and day.
Best months
June and September are the sweet spot — Pag is alive, Hideout Festival kicks off the summer, but availability and prices are still reasonable. July and August are peak. Book 3–4 weeks ahead minimum, more for Hideout weekend.
Delivery & logistics
We drive from our Split base via the Pag bridge — roughly three hours each way. Doorstep delivery is €220 (the real cost of a round trip — A1 tolls, fuel, ~6h of driver time). We drop the gear at your villa, 10-minute handover, gone. Free pickup from our Split base if you’d rather skip the fee.
Most Novalja and Zrće-area villas are easy to access. If you’re booked into one of the more remote spots around the Lun peninsula, mention it at booking so we can plan.
Festivals on Pag
- Hideout Festival — late June / early July, Zrće beach clubs. The kick-off festival of the Croatian summer.
- Papaya, Aquarius, Kalypso — Zrće clubs open all summer
- Sonus and Fresh Island — historically held on Zrće but both discontinued in Croatia (see our festival guide for current alternatives)
