The PartyBox 310 is the budget version of the JBL PartyBox 710 already in our catalog. Less raw volume but 18-hour battery, IPX4 splashproof rating (handles pool spray + light rain), wheels for the move between rooms.
Best for groups of 15-30, daytime use, anywhere the 710 would be overkill. Cheap enough that we can send two for a bigger party.
When something else is better
- More than about 40 people, or an open terrace — 240W runs out of headroom fast outdoors. The PartyBox 710 is 800W RMS and can run off mains for unlimited runtime, which is the real difference on a long night.
- You want it to sound good rather than look fun — the built-in light show is most of what you’re paying for here. The Bose S1 Pro+ is deliberately plain, lighter at 7.2kg, and the better speaker for a sunset dinner, a speech or a yacht deck.
- Beach, boat, or anything that involves salt and sand — IPX4 covers splashes, not dust. The Soundboks Go is IP65 and 9.2kg, built for exactly the trips where this one would come home damaged.
What to add
Both mic inputs are already there, so a Shure SM58 plugged in is the cheapest karaoke or speech setup in the catalog. If people will be moving around, use the Sennheiser EW-D wireless handheld instead.
