The Wookie is one tier up from the Laserworld entry — actual animations (smileys, hearts, text, geometric shapes) instead of just sweeping beams. 32 pre-programmed patterns, DMX-controllable, sound-reactive timing.
For birthday moments where someone wants their name lasered onto a wall during the cake reveal, this is the gear.
Book smoke or haze with it
Every laser has the same weakness: in clean air you see the pattern where it lands and nothing along the way. Budget for one of these in the same order:
- Antari Z-350 Fazer — the right answer if the laser runs across the whole evening. Even haze, set it to low output and leave it.
- Antari Z-1000X MK3 — compact smoke machine, better for a one-off reveal moment in a normal-sized villa room.
- Antari Z-1500 — the bigger 1500W machine, for a terrace or marquee where the smaller one gets lost.
When something else is better
- You just want beams and colour sweeping the room, not shapes — the Laserworld EL-230RGB is full RGB (this one is red and green only) and sound-reactive out of the box. Cheaper, and better at the generic club look.
- You want light that moves and covers the whole floor — a laser paints; it doesn’t light people. Pair it with, or replace it by, the Stairville MH-100 beam pair or the Eurolite TMH-X4 zoom wash pair.
