The “we’re throwing something bigger than a villa party but smaller than a real festival” booking. Private 100-300 person events on the Croatian coast — usually a multi-day birthday, milestone anniversary, or small-curation private festival on a private property.
This is the edge of what self-serve plug-and-play rental can credibly cover. For anything that requires a stage, real lighting design, a PA system rigged with sound checks, or a sound engineer onsite, we’re not the right operator and we’ll tell you that up front. For events where the brief is “really nice sound and lights without a production team”, we are.
What we can cover
- Multi-day rentals of 2-4 DJ rigs for back-to-back DJ slots — Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 / DDJ-1000 / DDJ-REV5 can be combined for a real rotation. If the whole weekend runs off one booth, put the Pioneer DDJ-FLX10 in it: four channels and dual USB means the next DJ plugs in and takes over without anyone unplugging a laptop mid-set.
- 4-8 battery speakers distributed across zones of the event — chillout area, main floor, sunset cove, bar zone. For the main floor specifically, a JBL EON ONE MK2 pushes considerably harder than the Bose boxes we send to villas, and its hot-swap batteries mean it doesn’t die halfway through the headline slot.
- LED PAR uplights and basic lighting effects for evening sets — and if you’re running beams or lasers, add the Antari Z-350 fazer. Without haze in the air the beams are invisible and you’ve paid for lights nobody can see.
- Wireless mics for announcements, MC moments, intros
- Consumable props at scale — sparklers, smoke flares, confetti by the kilo
What we can’t cover
- Real festival-grade PA (line-array systems, subwoofer arrays). These need riggers, real sound engineers, and we don’t rent them.
- Stage builds, truss, motors. Production company territory.
- Onsite tech support during the event. We drop, we pick up. Anything else requires booking a tech person separately.
That list isn’t false modesty — it’s the model. What we are and what we’re not is written down for exactly this reason, so nobody plans a 200-person weekend around a crew that was never coming.
How to plan it
4-6 weeks ahead minimum. Multi-day rentals book the calendar harder than single-day, and peak summer (mid-July through August) sells out fastest.
For events spanning multiple days, the weekly flat rates beat the daily rate by a meaningful margin. Tell us the dates and we’ll quote the multi-day flat.
Delivery
For events outside the Split-area zone, doorstep delivery is the right tier — we don’t want gear bouncing around bus stations for a 200-person event. See the zone page for the doorstep prices to your event location.
Example past briefs
- A 2-day private birthday on a Pelješac property — 4 DJ slots, 6 distributed speakers, evening LED setup
- A wedding-week summer house with 3 themed nights — different gear rotated each night. If the wedding day itself is part of the brief, read the wedding sound equipment page first: ceremony mics, speeches and the reception are three different sound problems and the multi-day quote should cover all three.
- A small “art + music” weekend for 150 friends on a private Šolta property
If any of these sounds like what you’re planning, start a reservation and tell us the shape of the event. We’ll suggest the right gear or send you to someone better if it’s beyond our scope.
