Festival Pre-Game is for the week where the photos are half the point. You’re 8-16 mates in a Pag / Tisno / Split villa, you’ve come for Hideout or Defected Croatia or Love International or just a milestone weekend with the group, and the goal is:
- Pre-game music that actually sounds like a party, not a Bluetooth speaker
- The smoke-bomb photo before you leave for the venue
- The sparkler moment when the cake / bottles come out
- The confetti-gun drop when the song hits
This package is all four, bundled.

What’s in it
1× JBL PartyBox 710 — the lad-week default speaker. 800W, built-in synced light show (strobes / sweeps / color washes that move with the music), wheels, battery + mains. Covers a 30-50 person villa party indoors or outdoors. The single most-rented speaker in our Pag / Zrće zone for good reason.
1× Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 — entry-level Pioneer controller, USB-powered (no separate plug), works from a phone via djay or from a laptop via Rekordbox / Serato. Two-channel mixing, beat-sync, FX strip. The “anyone in the group who’s ever opened djay can DJ tonight” controller.
1× EG18 colored smoke grenade pack (4×) — pull-pin, 90-second wall of color, cool-burning. Pick four colors when you reserve (pink + red + blue + purple are the most-photographed combo). Use one for the daytime rooftop pre-game shot, save the rest for the festival entrance video. Cool-burning means no fire risk + safe to throw into saltwater after.
1× Indoor sparkler bundle (50×) — German champagne-grade sparklers, 35-second burn, smokeless, no falling debris. The cake-cutting moment, the bottle-service moment, the “everyone hold one for the photo” moment. 50 sparklers = enough for the cake + a group photo + a few backup spares.
1× MAGIC FX DJ Shotgun — handheld confetti cannon, battery-powered, reloadable. Fires multi-color streamers + confetti on demand. Trigger it on the bass drop, get the slow-motion photo, the group loses minds. Comes with one cartridge included; refill packs (6×) available separately at €55 for 6 shots.

For a 5-day Hideout/Pag-villa week: €891 base (€159/day rental × 5, plus €96 for the props once) + €440 doorstep delivery to Pag + €700 damage hold (refundable).
Two things worth saying plainly about longer bookings. The kit rate is flat per day and does not taper — the 29% bundle discount is already priced in, and we don’t stack a multi-day discount on top of it. And the smoke pack, sparklers and confetti are consumables you keep: on a multi-day booking they’re charged once, not once per day, so tell us the dates and we’ll quote the kit with the props separated out rather than multiplied.
When to skip this and rent something else
- Group under 8 people — overkill. Get the Zrće Pre-Drinks package (€125/day, just PartyBox + FLX4 + no props) and add à la carte smoke or sparklers if you specifically want them.
- Older / quieter crowd — JBL PartyBox 710 with its built-in light show is wrong for a 50th birthday. Get Birthday with the Lights instead (€285/day, Bose stereo + LED PARs + smoke — premium not party-box energy).
- Indoor-only, mains available — skip the PartyBox and go à la carte: 2× Mackie Thump 215 + stands (€175/day) for a real PA, plus the Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 (€65/day) and whichever props you actually want. Cleaner sound than any battery box, but it’s mains-only and the Mackies are order-in (5 days’ notice). Bringing your own tops instead? Then you only need the Gravity SP 5212 stands — getting speakers up to ear height is most of the difference between a PA and two boxes on a table.
Building the week yourself rather than taking a kit is fine by us — the whole party equipment rental catalogue is priced per item, and the kits exist only because these particular combinations get booked over and over.
Notes on the props
- Smoke flares are outdoor-only. Ask the villa host before lighting one on the terrace. Most are fine; some villa contracts specifically forbid (rare). Pool deck / rooftop / driveway are the usual locations.
- Sparklers are indoor-safe because they’re smokeless (German champagne-grade, not the kids’-birthday-cake variety). Still: don’t light next to drapes / paper decorations / open flames.
- Confetti shotgun ammo is finite. One cartridge ≈ 4 grams of streamers, covers about 6 metres of “the drop.” Order refill packs (€55 for 6 cartridges) if you want multiple drops across the night.
- The PartyBox light show is not a lighting rig. It reacts to the music and it’s fine for a villa room, but if you want the drop to actually hit, add a Eurolite LED super strobe and put it behind the DJ. Skip it if anyone in the group is photosensitive.
