The Beach Day Kit exists because the gear question on a Croatian beach is not the same as the gear question at a villa. You need:

  • Battery only. No mains on a beach.
  • Salt-tolerant. The Adriatic spray will kill anything not IP-rated.
  • Walk-in friendly. No wheels work on sand. Whatever you bring, someone carries.
  • Loud enough for an outdoor crowd. Indoor speakers get lost on open beach in the wind.

This package solves all four — for €220/day, delivered to the nearest marina, ferry terminal, or parking lot, and you walk the kit the last 100m onto the beach.

What’s in it

1× Soundboks Gen 4 — the biggest battery speaker we rent. 126 dB peak SPL, IP65 rated (best in the catalog — handles light rain, sand spray, getting splashed at the pool edge). 40-hour battery at moderate output. 17.5 kg, single-strap carry handle. Bluetooth 5.0 input, or a 1/4” jack if you bring a DJ controller. Covers a 40-100-person beach gathering without breaking a sweat.

1× Sennheiser EW-D wireless handheld — the toast moment, the “happy birthday” moment, the “we’re getting married on this beach” moment. Plug the receiver into the Soundboks 1/4” jack, take the handheld 30m down the sand, broadcast quality, 8-hour battery.

1× EG18 colored smoke grenade pack (4×) — the sunset photo moment. Pull-pin, 90-second wall of color, cool-burning (safe to throw into saltwater after — no fluid residue, no fire risk). Pick 4 colors when you reserve: pink, red, blue, purple, orange, yellow, green, white. This is the Mediterranean-Instagram aesthetic in one tube.

What it costs end-to-end

Component à la carte total: €175 (Soundboks) + €75 (Sennheiser) + €80 (smoke pack) = €330/day.

Beach Day Kit bundle: €220/day. Savings: €110/day.

For a 3-day beach week: €660 total + delivery to the nearest marina/lot + your damage hold (refundable). A 6-day yacht-and-beach week: €1,320 + delivery + hold.

When to skip this and rent something else

  • Group under 10 people on a small beach — overkill. Rent a single Bose S1 Pro+ at €85/day instead. Same hand-carry weight, half the volume, fine for small groups.
  • Mains power available (covered terrace, beach club with sockets) — get more dB per euro from a mains-only setup like the Mackie Thump 215 pair (€175/day).
  • Indoor / covered villa — the Soundboks’s IP65 + bass-tuned-for-outdoor character is wasted indoors. The JBL PartyBox 710 (€110/day, built-in lights) is better for inside.

Pickup at the nearest marina / ferry / lot in any of our six zones:

  • Split metro — €50 doorstep (ACI Split, Trogir, Brač ferry), free pickup from our base
  • Pag — €220 (ACI Šimuni, Novalja marina, lot access for Zrće-area beaches)
  • Hvar — €220 (Hvar Town port, Stari Grad ferry, Jelsa marina)
  • Dubrovnik — €260 (ACI Dubrovnik, Cavtat marina, Konavle parking)
  • Zadar — €130 (ACI Zadar, Sukošan, Sukošan-to-Kornati start)
  • Istria — €180 (ACI Pula, ACI Rovinj, Poreč marina)

We don’t drive the gear onto the beach — local rules vary and most Croatian beaches don’t allow vehicle access. We hand it over at the marina / lot / ferry terminal and you walk it from there.

Package questions

Can I swap an item in this package?

Yes — packages are a price-discounted bundle but the items aren't welded together. Email us before you book with the swap and we'll quote the adjusted price.

What if I don't need the mic?

Tell us — we'll drop it from the kit and adjust the price down. Same for any other component you won't use.

Is everything compatible out of the box?

Yes — every package is a tested combination. We cable it ready. You plug it in, it works.

Multi-day discount?

Yes — a multi-day discount is applied automatically the longer you book, well below the typical retail day-rate multiplier. For 14+ days, email us — we negotiate further.

How does delivery work?

Free pickup from our depot near Split. Doorstep van delivery is priced per zone: €50 in Split, €130 Zadar, €180 Hvar (ferry both ways included), €220 Pag/Zrće, €260 Dubrovnik, €280 Istria. See /zones/ for the full breakdown.

How fast can you deliver?

Same-day in Split if you reserve before 11am. Other zones: 3-5 days lead time so we can route the van efficiently. Last-minute is doable but adds a rush fee.

What if I damage the gear?

Each rental has a refundable damage hold on your card. We charge actual repair or replacement cost — not flat penalties. Normal wear-and-tear isn't damage.

How do I pay?

Card via Stripe (Apple Pay / Google Pay too) or Revolut payment link. EUR pricing. VAT receipts on request. EU bank transfer available case-by-case for larger bookings — ask when you reserve.
