The Delta 2 Max is the off-grid party workhorse — 2048Wh of capacity and a 2400W inverter (3100W surge) means it’ll actually run a mains-powered PA setup, not just charge battery gear.

Real-world runtimes:

  • A Mackie Thump 215 pair at party volume (~600W draw): ~3 hours
  • A full DJ rig — Pioneer DDJ-1000 + laptop + 4× LED PARs + a powered speaker (~800W): ~2.5 hours
  • A single battery speaker recharge cycle: barely dents it — you get 10+ Bose S1 Pro+ recharges

This is what you rent for a beach party, a remote villa garden with no outdoor power, or a small open-air where you want a proper PA but there’s no socket within cable reach. Silent, clean power, recharges in about an hour when you’re back on mains.

When this is the right call

  • Beach parties running a powered PA (the Beach Day Kit Soundboks is battery, but if you upgrade to a mains PA, this powers it)
  • Remote villa gardens / olive groves / rooftop terraces with no outdoor socket
  • Small open-air events (30-80 people) needing 2-3 hours of full-rig power

When to size up or down

  • Just charging battery speakers + phones? The Delta 2 (1024Wh, €55/day) is plenty and lighter.
  • All-night off-grid party / bigger PA? Step up to the Delta Pro (3600Wh, 3600W, wheels) — it’ll run the whole night.

Common questions about EcoFlow Delta 2 Max

Will it actually run a powered PA?

The Delta 2 Max (2400W) and Delta Pro (3600W) run mains PA setups — a Mackie Thump pair pulls ~600W, so the Max gives ~3 hours. The smaller Delta 2 (1800W) is better for charging battery gear + running lights/laptop than driving a full PA.

How long will it power my rig?

Depends on draw. Tell us your exact gear list when you reserve and we send back a runtime estimate before you book. Rule of thumb: capacity (Wh) ÷ rig watts ≈ hours, minus ~15% inverter overhead.

Is it safe for audio gear?

Yes — all three output pure sine wave (clean power, like a wall socket), not the modified-sine that cheap inverters use and that can hum or damage sensitive audio gear.

Is it loud like a generator?

No — these are batteries, not petrol generators. Near-silent, no fumes, no fuel. That's the whole point for a Croatian coastal venue where a generator would get a noise complaint or isn't allowed.

Can I recharge it during the event?

Yes — from any mains socket (Delta 2 hits 80% in ~50 min) or from solar panels if you bring them. On a sunny day a midday top-up extends your evening runtime.

How does delivery work?

Free pickup from our depot near Split. Doorstep van delivery is priced per zone: €50 in Split, €130 Zadar, €180 Hvar (ferry both ways included), €220 Pag/Zrće, €260 Dubrovnik, €280 Istria. See /zones/ for the full breakdown.

How fast can you deliver?

Same-day in Split if you reserve before 11am. Other zones: 3-5 days lead time so we can route the van efficiently. Last-minute is doable but adds a rush fee.

What if I damage the gear?

Each rental has a refundable damage hold on your card. We charge actual repair or replacement cost — not flat penalties. Normal wear-and-tear isn't damage.

How do I pay?

Card via Stripe (Apple Pay / Google Pay too) or Revolut payment link. EUR pricing. VAT receipts on request. EU bank transfer available case-by-case for larger bookings — ask when you reserve.
