The step up from the entry Stairville MH-100 beam pair. 60W OSRAM LED beam with surrounding RGB ring, motorised zoom (4°-30°, so the beam can be tight pencil-like or wider wash), and bright enough to be visible in a partially-lit villa space.
We send these when the booking justifies it: birthdays, milestone events, or anywhere “looks like a club” is a real brief.
Book haze with them
Beams are the fixtures that suffer most in clean air — a 4° beam with nothing to catch it is a bright circle on the ceiling. Add the Antari Z-350 Fazer for an even haze across the evening, or the Antari Z-1500 smoke machine if you want visible clouds around a specific moment.
When something else is better
- Budget is the constraint — the Stairville MH-100 pair does the same sound-active sweeping-beam job at 36× 3W per fixture. Noticeably dimmer, and no zoom, but it is the same idea for a lot less.
- You want colour across a wide space rather than beams through it — the Eurolite TMH-X4 zoom wash pair floods RGBW colour instead of throwing shafts. Better on an open terrace where there’s no haze to hold a beam.
- Nothing else in the rig yet — beams on their own leave the room dark between sweeps. The 4× LED PAR uplight set is the base layer these sit on top of.
