Different audience from the Sennheiser EW-D ME 2 lavalier — this is built for content creators. Two transmitters means you can mic up two people for an interview, vlog, or podcast. Onboard recording (up to ~24 hours compressed per transmitter) means it captures audio even if it loses radio link to the receiver.

When something else is better

This is a camera mic. It’s excellent at that and it is not the right tool for putting a voice through a speaker:

  • Wedding speeches, ceremonies, anything going through a PA — book the Sennheiser EW-D ME 2 lavalier instead. Its desktop receiver has an XLR output that goes straight into a Bose S1 Pro+ or a Mackie Thump PA, and it runs about 100m rather than needing line of sight to a camera.
  • MCing, karaoke, passing a mic around — a clip-on transmitter is wrong for that in every way. The Sennheiser EW-D handheld is what you want, with a Shure SM58 as the cheap wired backup.
  • A full day of shooting — 7 hours of battery here against 8 on AAs in the Sennheiser, and AAs can be swapped at a petrol station.

Common questions about Rode Wireless GO II

Do you supply an XLR cable?

Wired mics include a 5m XLR cable. Wireless mics include a 1/4 jack out and an XLR-equipped receiver. Longer cables on request.

Will it work with my mixer?

Standard XLR or 1/4 jack output — works with any pro mixer, PA speaker, or audio interface with a mic input.

Battery life on wireless?

Sennheiser EW-D runs ~8 hours on a set of AAs (12h with the optional Li-ion pack). Spare AAs included so you can swap mid-event.

Can I record from it?

Wired mic into an audio interface = yes, easy. Wireless: receiver output into an interface — same. We don't supply the interface; bring your own.

How does delivery work?

Free pickup from our depot near Split. Doorstep van delivery is priced per zone: €100 in Split, €220 Šibenik, €260 Zadar, €360 Hvar (ferry both ways included), €440 Pag/Zrće, €520 Dubrovnik, €560 Istria. See /zones/ for the full breakdown.

How fast can you deliver?

Same-day in Split if you reserve before 11am. Other zones: 3-5 days lead time so we can route the van efficiently. Last-minute is doable but adds a rush fee.

What if I damage the gear?

Each rental has a refundable damage hold, charged with the rental and refunded once the gear is back and working. We charge actual repair or replacement cost — not flat penalties. Normal wear-and-tear isn't damage.

How do I pay?

Card via Stripe (Apple Pay / Google Pay too) or Revolut payment link. EUR pricing. VAT receipts on request. EU bank transfer available case-by-case for larger bookings — ask when you reserve.
